Shacman Fleet Handover Highlights Logistics and Safety Focus

A fleet handover ceremony involving Shacman and Yonming Group was held for Linde Malaysia on 4 May 2026 at Hicom Industrial Estate, Shah Alam, Selangor. The event marked the introduction of Shacman X6000 4x2 trucks into industrial logistics operations supporting Malaysia’s supply chain activities.

Kau Peng Yap, Group General Manager at Yonming Group and Chairman of EMPTA, spoke during the ceremony.

He said, “Our objective is clear. Every employee must return home safely at the end of the day,” underscoring a shared safety commitment aligned with Linde Malaysia’s operational priorities.

Madam Peih Yoke Hoo, Managing Director of Linde Malaysia, described the handover as part of a long-term working relationship.

She said, “This event reflects a long-term partnership built on trust and shared objectives.”

She concluded that the focus remains on maintaining reliability and service quality for customers.

YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility, officiated the ceremony.

He said, “It is a pleasure to be here today to witness this handover ceremony.”

He highlighted Selangor’s position as a major industrial and logistics hub, noting the importance of supply chain resilience amid changing global economic conditions.

He added that the state continues to support development across manufacturing, logistics, and mobility sectors as part of long-term economic growth efforts.

The event reflects ongoing developments within Malaysia’s industrial logistics sector, with emphasis on safety, transport capability, and industry collaboration.
