Karsan e-JEST buses are in North America

Karsan, which has ranked among the leading mobility companies in Europe with its high-tech and sustainable public transportation solutions, reinforces its effectiveness in the North American market, one of the important steps of its goal to become a global brand. Karsan, which signed a distributorship agreement with Damera Bus Sales Canada Corp., a subsidiary of Mississauga Bus Group of Companies that is Canada's leading bus supplier and maintenance service provider, at the beginning of 2022, entered the country with e-JEST. 6 e-JEST buses, which were delivered to the city of Saint John in Canada in the past few days, started to serve at the dawn of new year. Sharing his views of the subject, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said, “Thanks to this delivery, we have strongly entered the North American market. Having achieved the market leadership in Europe for the two consecutive years, e-JEST has begun to gain an important ground in this market as the North America's first electric minibus. Karsan’s Autonomous e-ATAK model which has been operating in Michigan State University, was also the first and only Level-4 driverless bus of the United States carrying passengers in real road conditions. We are happy and proud to announce that we have entered the North American Market with e-JEST model, after Autonomous e-ATAK."

Karsan Strongly Entered the North American Market

In this context, 6 Karsan e-JEST buses delivered to the city of Saint John in Canada have been in service as of the new year. Stating that they have strongly entered the North American market with this delivery, Karsan CEO Okan Baş said, “Having achieved the market leadership in Europe for the two consecutive years, e-JEST has begun to gain an important ground in the market after Europe as the North America's first electric minibus.
